Solomon Development Services recently announced that it has reached a definitive agreement to develop a new Dogwood Forest assisted living community in Grayson, Ga. The $26 million, 101,000-square-foot Dogwood Forest of Grayson community will be the eighth in the brand’s portfolio. Solomon Development Services will lead the project as its developer. CDL partners will serve as the project’s designer and architect. Choate construction will serve as contractor. The community will be managed by Trinity Life.
Constructed similarly to Dogwood Forest of Acworth, which opened in fall of 2014, Dogwood Forest of Grayson will specialize in assisted living, memory care and adult day services.
The community will have 99 units composed of 74 assisted living units and 25 memory care units. Available amenities to include a theatre, wellness center, community gardens, outdoor gaming courts, bistros, walking trails, and other features. Consistent with the Dogwood Forest brand’s focus on wellness, the Grayson community will be designed with a host of wellness protocols including UV lighting in the HVAC system to kill viruses as well as a negative ion system to kill odor causing bacteria and to lift and enhance moods. The community is scheduled to open spring 2017.
