Construction for Dogwood Forest of Grayson located in East Gwinnett County is well underway. According to reports from project construction contractor Choate Construction, builders recently completed grading and seeding for the front entry of the structure. Framing for the structural walls on level 2 areas C and B have have been completed. Builders are now working on Area A. Trusses have been installed.
Dogwood Forest of Grayson is a 99 unit Assisted Living community being constructed in Grayson, Georgia. The property will be licensed for 74 assisted living and 25 memory care apartments. The $26 million, 101,000-square-foot community will be the eighth to join the Dogwood Forest brand’s portfolio in the Atlanta Metropolitan area. Solomon Development Services is leading the project as its developer. Choate construction is the contractor for project. Dogwood Forest of Grayson is owned by CNL Healthcare Properties, a REIT focused on acquiring housing in senior housing and the healthcare sectors with stabilized and in development. Trinity Life, an Alpharetta, Ga. based management company and an affiliate of Solomon Development Services, will serve as the community’s administrator. Dogwood Forest is scheduled to open summer 2017.
